Kevin currently resides in Slippery Rock with his his wife of 25 years, Renee. Kevin completed his Masters in Organizational Leadership from Geneva College to compliment his graduate working in Community Counseling at Slippery Rock University and his undergraduate work in Elementary Education. Kevin actively volunteers, serves as a board member in multiple organizations to include VP of CCAP - County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania. Some additional key volunteer organizations include Rotary, Harrisville Volunteer Fire Company as an active certified firefighter/EMT, Critical Incident Stress Management, Butler Emergency Relief Initiative, and Masonic Lodge. Kevin enjoys keeping busy with his family by participating in sports, hunting, ATV, camping, fishing and entertaining guests. Kevin's oldest son, Zachory currently serves as a K-9 Officer in the Air Force. Kevin's youngest son, Colton, currently serves in the Army as a Calvary Scout while working on his Warrant Officer position. Renee continues to work in Cranberry as an accountant and likes to garden, craft, and read.
Kevin’s family is extremely supportive of his career, aspirations, and community activities. Kevin draws on his eclectic background and experience working in the following areas; behavioral health, senior care, emergency services, homeless initiatives, housing/redevelopment, education, and more. Kevin has worked as the Director at Catholic Charities, the RI/Special Projects Director overseeing/monitoring 20+ programs within the Housing and Redevelopment Authority. Kevin works extremely well independently and has the ability to lead community efforts by obtaining trusting relationships with local/state/federal agencies and individuals alike. Kevin continues to find satisfaction/challenges in his current role by ensuring success of current projects and by taking on new projects that are community driven. His strong desire to provide the best services to the residents while drawing on his unique leadership experience is the driving force that keeps his interest peaked and dedication strong.
